The Food Project is a great program, and has been around for almost a decade, I think.  They have a farm out in the suburbs, (possibly Concord) as well as an urban garden in Dorchester.  All of the food they grow is then sold at farmers markets.  A graduate of the class of 2005 was very involved in the program, and even served as the student member of the board of directors.
