I am nervous to send my daughter in sept 07 to bla not only is the school located in a not so desirable neighborhood the recent herald report of student on student incidents makes me wonder.  I am going to try it because i feel she earned the right to attend.  I would hope that since kids had to place int the school they are there to learn and I would like to know how other parents feel who either have kids there or will have.  She has attended public school before.  I just don’t want distrubive classrooms and be forced to send her to a private school.

My daughter attends BLA - she’s going in to the 8th grade. I was nervous sending her last year for a variety of reasons - the school is so big, she always went to small private schools, I was nervous about the neighborhood, etc. I can say with confidence that there were not any disruptive classes, she was safe at all times, she made a ton of friends, she thrived on the challenging work. The school is amazing - very structured, very strict, very successful. I couldn’t be happier with the education she is receiving at BLA.
