Dear Parents and Guardians,

The BLA School Parents Council/Booster Club is hosting a Welcome Breakfast for teachers, administrators, and staff on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 7:30 AM in BLA’s sixie cafeteria. We expect about 120 guests and we need volunteers to help with the following:

Food - We need breakfast foods such as fruit, bagels, croissants, muffins, Danish, donuts, coffee cake (sliced), etc. We could also use cream cheese, butter and jam. You can donate food you make yourself, buy food, or get a food donation from a local business.

Beverages - We need water and juice; they can be single serving/half gallons/gallons. We could also use coolers and ice to keep the drinks cold. (We plan to ask the cafeteria staff to provide hot coffee and tea.)

Paper Products - We need small plates, clear plastic tumblers for fruit and juice, napkins, and plastic flatware. (We may already have some of these in storage at the school. I’ll have to check.)

Setup and serving - We need 10-12 volunteers to come to BLA at 6:45 AM on 9/4 to set up and/or clean up.

Please help in any way that you can. I understand that not everyone can help on September 4th, but I would really appreciate anything you can do. It is so important that our teachers know how much we value them and their dedication to the education of our children.
