We are new to the the public school system, we were in a small school setting with excellent communications.
I find there is no communication at all, everything from the school dance to signing up of sports or other events.  Even my daughter ( the new sixie) has a hard time finding out information in school.

The school websites for sports are mostly outdated. Am I looking at the wrong sites?

I found the calendar for PTO dates, but it does not give a location or a contact name.

I am a parent who Likes to be invovled. In our other school I ran many different events, everything from fundraising to social gatherings.

Please direct me in the right direction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
