Mr. James Williams, Assistant Headmaster, and several teachers are sponsoring a Fashion & Design Club for BLA students. They need the following new or used items in good condition:

-Sewing Machines, thread, thimbles, pin cushions, needles, scissors etc.  (basically all sewing supplies)

-Patterns of any kind (for clothes, curtains, etc)

-Quilting supplies:  Material (used, worn and clean clothing or scraps for making quilts), cotton batting, other quilting equipment

-Fabric, buttons, zippers, hooks etc.

People can leave donations in the school office.  If anyone has supplies and can’t get them to the school, give Mr. Williams a call at the school (617-635-9957) with the address and best time to pick up the items. If you cannot reach him directly, please leave him a phone message. If you have difficulty contacting him, e-mail the BLA Booster Club with the information at and we’ll make sure he gets the info.
