Hello Friends,

I mentioned at the last parent council meeting that the BTU teachers unanimously passed a motion on 3/11/09 to hold a mass rally together with parents and students. This can include neighborhood groups and other supportive unions. There is a planning meeting for this rally tomorrow afternoon, April 15th at the Boston Teachers’ Union Hall, (same building as the Bayside Expo on Mt. Vernon Street in dorchester) at 4:00 pm. Parent representation at the meeting is important and if any BLA parents could attend and provide input of our concerns that would be fantastic. There is plenty of parking.
