Dear Latin Academy Families and Friends,
We wanted to take a moment to thank you for your thoughtful generosity toward Boston Latin Academy. This is an extremely strong middle and high school program. Boston Latin Academy provides our students an opportunity to attend a nationally competitive secondary school with a legacy of educational excellence that began in 1877.
The great news is that our students are excelling and that Boston Latin Academy is competitive with the top public schools in Massachusetts and the nation. Boston Latin Academy has had tremendous academic success and the academic profile of our students continues to improve. College acceptance and completion rates are among the highest in the city, and many of our students are recipients of John and Abigail Adams Scholarships. Boston Latin Academy was a Silver medalist in the 2009 U.S. News & World Report America’s Best High Schools for academic excellence among American high schools, and our students were first in the state on the English MCAS and eighth on the math MCAS. Every year our students win Gold and Silver Keys at the Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards, and the list goes on.
We need your financial support to sustain and enhance resources in the classroom, maintain course offerings, support extra-curricular activities, provide technology upgrades, teacher stipends and classroom equipment. Your generosity will make a difference and will have a positive impact on the students, faculty and programs at Boston Latin Academy.
