Given that I’ve always donated any and all of my BLA photography and video presentations, I’m not really ‘open’ to paying another BLA parent to photograph my son’s senior photograph.  I learned today that parents CAN submit a graduation-appropriate photo of their Class of 2012 student (for inclusion in the yearbook) for just $10--we do not have to purchase the $30 or $75 school graduation photo packages you read about in today’s BLA mailing. 

If you’re not good with a camera, I certainly am and I’m happy to help out come next spring with a Viscount Park photo shoot after school (this is the little park near the teacher’s parking lot or something at the Arboretum, Franklin Park Zoo, or what have you. Given that I’ve over-photographed most of your kids in the last few years, it would be an honor and a privilege to photograph them as a ‘last hurrah’ as they take off for parts unknown next June!  There would be NO cost to you, of course, and whatever I shoot, your senior will receive on CD so you are welcome to print as you wish.  (I don’t keep any of the images, nor would I put them on Facebook, any website, etc. They’re your property, solely.)

NO PRESSURE to take me up on this offer but I’m putting it out there to the Class of 2012. (If Ms. Pastor will allow it, I’d love to compile a “This is Your BLA Life from Sixies to Seniors” slideshow for a senior May 2012 lunch hour, but I’m not supplyin’ the tissues, folks!)
