Dear Parents and Guardians,
The School Parents Council (that’s all of us who have students at BLA) is hosting a Welcome Breakfast for teachers, administrators, and staff on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at 7:45 AM in BLA’s lower cafeteria. We expect about 120 guests and we need volunteers to help with the following:
Food - We need single-serving breakfast foods such as fruit, bagels, croissants, muffins, danish, donuts, coffee cake (sliced), etc. We could also use cream cheese, butter, jam, etc. You can donate food you make yourself, buy food, or get a food donation from a local business.
Beverages - We need single-serving bottled beverages such as water and juice. We could also use coolers and ice to keep the drinks cold. (We plan to ask the cafeteria staff to provide hot coffee and tea.)
Paper Products - We need small plates, coffee cups and cold cups, napkins, and plastic flatware.
Cash/Check - We will gratefully accept money to buy any of the above.
Setup and serving - We need people to commit to come to BLA at 7 AM on 9/5 to set up and/or clean up.
Please help in any way that you can. I understand that not everyone’s schedule will allow them to help on September 5th, but I would really appreciate anything you can do. It is so important that our teachers know how much we value them and their dedication to the education of our children.
