Welcome back to BLA 2011 - 2012
Welcome back to the BLA school year 2011 - 2012!
A few things before we get to the first bulletin of the year:
As you may know, BLA has been in the news recently as the BPS system explores options for locations. This is not a done deal and parents, students, faculty and alumni have been out in force making their thoughts known. As we receive more information, I’ll post it on the BLA Parent site but you’ll also find the most current information at https://sites.google.com/site/205townsendaction/
I encourage you to check in frequently and get involved.
As some of you know, my son has graduated (yay). I’ll be adjusting the system for the Bulletin delivery so that it can go on without me...although I will miss it. I am also in the process of updating the parent site itself. So, stay tuned for more on that later.
If you know other parents of students at BLA who do not receive the bulletin and would like to, please have them contact me at
Special thanks to Ms. Grace Campia at BLA for her continuing help in getting the Daily Bulletin out to me each day.
Thanks and here’s to a great school year!
Carole Carter
